If you have low fuel supply pressure, and you know the supply pump is good, a bad overflow valve can cause low supply pressure. It can also contribute to a hard start issue. Valve is located on the Injection pump, connecting the banjo fitting return line to the tank.

What does it do?

The overflow valve regulates the fuel circulating throughout the engine to maintain proper fuel pressure for the engine to operate. The valve is key to ensuring that the engine has the proper power to function as it maintains balanced low fuel pressure in the pump.
