Privacy Policy
We value the trust you place in Word’s Equipment. We want to ensure you understand what information we gather, how we use it, and the safeguards we have in place to protect it. In limited circumstances, we collect information necessary to process and complete your order. These include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. This information may be stored and processed by Word’s Equipment. We do not store credit card information. Credit cards are processed by a third party. Word’s Equipment does not rent or sell customer information to third parties.
Merchandise Returns
We genuinely hope you are fully satisfied with the products you purchase from our company. If this is not the case, we ask that you please get in touch with our Sales Support at (972)482-7668 or email sales@wordsequipment.com to obtain a Returns Good Authorization (RGA) number. All returns should be sent freight prepaid, with the RGA number clearly marked on the outside of the package to our main address. Please see the return policy and requirements below and keep all packing materials and packing slips when you receive your product. A copy of the original packing list or invoice must be included with your return to be considered for reimbursement. Inspect and review your shipment immediately upon receipt so that if there are any problems or discrepancies, we can help correct them promptly.
Return Policy
Returns are accepted up to 30 days from original date of purchase. Unless otherwise noted, a 25% restocking fee will be charged for all returns. All returns shall be freight prepaid. Restocking fees will be waived only when the product is defective. A refund less restocking fee will be issued to the customer’s method of payment only after the merchandise has been received, inspected, and determined to meet all the requirements listed below. Returns will not be accepted for electrical or electronic components.
Requirements for Returns

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges including any desired insurance.

All returned products must include a copy of Word’s Equipment packing slip or invoice.

All returned products must be in new, sellable condition. We cannot accept returns on damaged products (e.g., rusty or dented) or previously used or installed.

All returned products must be in the original packaging (where applicable).

All returns must be made as ordered. Products that are incomplete or missing parts will not be accepted for return. Products in kits or packages must be returned in their entirety.

Any return that does not meet the above return requirements will be scrapped at the customer’s expense.
Limited Parts Warranty
Word’s Equipment warrants parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of goods sold. This warranty applies to any part that is properly installed, maintained, and operated under normal conditions. This warranty is void if the part has been (i) subject to misuse, neglect, or accident, (ii) used for a purpose for which it is not designed, or (iii) altered in any way that adversely affects its performance or reliability. At Word’s Equipment, our sole obligation and the purchaser’s sole remedy for any breach of this warranty is the repair or replacement of defective parts. Word’s Equipment reserves the right to inspect any item prior to granting warranty coverage.
What Is Not Warranted – This warranty does not cover:

A/C compressors not installed by a licensed or certified A/C repair shop.

Any equipment that has been altered or modified from factory specifications.

Depreciation or damage caused by normal wear, lack of reasonable and proper maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions/recommendations, misuse, lack of proper protection during storage, vandalism, collision, or accident.

Pistons, rings, or liners that are not ordered as parts of an overhaul kit.
-
Components that have been disassembled or dismantled.
-
Installation costs, any service calls, or other labor charges for products.
-
Transportation and/or freight costs associated with returning the product to Word’s Equipment place of business.

Any labor requested by the purchaser.
-
Incidental or consequential damages or injuries, including, but not limited to, loss of crops, loss of profits, rental of substitute equipment, or other commercial loss.

Statutory or implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness.
To the extent allowed by law, implied or statutory warranties including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited in duration to the applicable warranty period. Some jurisdictions do not allow duration limitations on an implied warranty or on the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The warranty gives the purchaser other specific legal rights which may vary by jurisdiction.
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE, the end customer must submit the warranty claim to Word’s Equipment within the warranty term. At the same time, the end customer must present the product and the original sales receipt showing date of purchase
SHIPPING DISCREPANCIES OR DAMAGED GOODS
Damage and Lost Freight Policy
Visible Damage:
• Before signing delivery receipt, inspect your freight for possible damage.
• For ground shipments (e.g., UPS, FedEx, SpeeDee, USPS, GSO) note the damage with the carrier. If the
package is refused make sure the carrier notes refusal due to damage. Please contact the sales department to discuss the refused shipment.
• For common carrier freight, note the damage to the driver and list it on the BOL.
• If the carrier leaves the package or freight, please document with pictures before the package is opened. Once opened, document with pictures of the damaged merchandise. This will speed up the process and will be required when filing a claim with the carrier.
• DO NOT install damaged merchandise unless otherwise specified by a sales or technical representative.
Concealed Damage:
• If shipment is delivered with no visible damage, please contact the sales to start claim.
• Leave all packaging intact and document condition of box and damaged merchandise with pictures. The customer service department will ask for this documentation to start the process with the carrier.
• DO NOT return the merchandise as a return or warranty. Returned merchandise with damage is not
accepted and is the customer's responsibility to report it to the sales department.
Merchandise Discrepancies:
• Inspect shipment for proper merchandise and quantity when it is received. Please report discrepancies within 5 business days of receipt. Call the sales department to discuss any discrepancies. Please keep track of the representative you speak to along with time and date.
• If a shipment is missing or lost in transit, please report to sales@wordsequipment.com within 30 days of the invoice date. Carriers typically allow a certain number of days for a claim to be filed.

Your use of the Website is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using the Website. General Business Terms: Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. All specials and promotions are limited to the stock on hand. Telephone us for current prices. We are not responsible for typographical errors and make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published in our catalogs and websites. The documents and graphics published on this Website may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. We do not represent the suitability of the information and graphics on this Website. All such documents and graphics are provided "as is" without a warranty.
If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, we can refund or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, Word’s Equipment shall immediately issue a credit for the incorrect price. We reserve the right to limit quantities of promotional products.
We are not liable under any legal theory for consequential or incidental damages arising from shipping delays, damages, or expenses arising from product malfunction or defect. Other restrictions may apply.
Product Information: Although we take measures to keep the information on this Website as timely and accurate as possible, we assume no responsibility for the accuracy of such information or its relevance to a specific use or application. The actual performance of products may vary based on many factors and may be less than stated. Actual products may differ slightly in appearance from the images shown.
Shipping Rates: For customers with a shipping address in the continental United States, shipping rates will be quoted in your shopping cart at the time of purchase.
Core Charges: Cores must be returned within 60 days of receipt of the original merchandise to qualify for a refund unless specific prior arrangements have been made with us. Core charges will be refunded based on receipt and inspection of a serviceable core. The customer is liable for all freight charges on core returns.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms: We are permitted to revise these Terms at any time as we see fit, and you are expected to review them regularly by using this Website.
Assignment: We can assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you cannot assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Word’s Equipment and you concerning your use of this Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms and any sales involving the Website will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this Website (including but not limited to the purchase of Word’s Equipment products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Dallas, Texas. Any cause of action or claim you may have concerning the Website (including but not limited to the purchase of Word’s Equipment products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Word’s Equipment LLC., also referred to as Word’s Equipment, have any liability of any kind, including any special indirect, incidental, or consequential losses or damages, even if Word’s Equipment has been advised of the possibility of such potential loss or damage. In no event shall Word’s Equipment incur liability of any kind with respect to any part or product sold by Word's Equipment in excess of the purchase price of that part or product.
